Lolly with a Big Sword Photoshoot – June 2020

Now the COVID-19 pandemic is on the downward curve-ish, time to get back out for a ‘socially distanced’ shoot at nearby abandoned buildings. Lolly had said,”Do you want to shoot me waving a big sword about?” – Of course! Health and Safety nightmare made for some great images.

With Lolly Davison and Bob Smith.

Camera: Sony a7iii

Lenses: 85mm f/1.8, 35mm f/1.4 and adapted Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8

Lighting: CITI600 with 90cm octobox and Godox V860II speedlight

Warmest day of the year so far, so got to use my big diffusion panel!

Lolly Post-Lockdown Shoot

As the social distancing restrictions are being eased back, we thought it was time to get out and dust the cobwebs off the camera gear. This certainly happened on a very windy and slightly damp June afternoon with Lolly Davison and Scott Gales kindly braving the weather. Thanks to co-shooter Bob Smith.

Info: camera Sony a7iii, 35mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.8, lighting 2x CITI600 with 90cm octa (key) and snoot (separation).

Venue: South Shields seafront
